2015 - Premium Holstein colt by Chin Champ

2015 - Premium Holstein colt by Chin Champ

Premium Holstein colt by Chin Champ MV Landgraf I/ Capitol/ Sacramen.Song xx Stamm 741

As the father so the son can be said calmly with this colt by Chin Champ! Because of his type, his great charisma and his movement quality this colt was awarded at the foal championship in Behrendorf. Through the Holstein mother mare with Landgraf I / Capitol I and then in the connection with the thoroughbred, which is so important for this mating, it can only be good - we are very satisfied!

Even as a foal, Chin Champ was so eye-catching due to his outstanding type, great charisma and quality of movement that he was considered a potential stallion prospect by many interested parties even back then. This assessment was confirmed at the licensing in Neumünster in 2008: Great charisma, typey face, excellent gaits as well as careful jumping with great ability were the criteria that earned him a classification as a premium stallion.

Chin Champ's sire Chin Chin is a descendant of Constant and thus directly inbred to the line 18B1. Chin Champ is also inbred several times to the stallion Cor de la Bryère via Chin Chin, Carvallo and Contender. Chin Chin, who was highly successful in international competition under the Mexican Jaime Azcarraga, took part in the Olympic Games in Seoul where he placed eighth in the individual final. After finishing his sporting career, Chin Chin was placed in the Netherlands for breeding with Wiepke v. d. Lageweg. In his dam line, Chin Chin goes back to the highly successful line 4539 of the Köhncke family in Badendorf, whose most successful representative is the three-time Derby winner Collin.

The dam Ravenna was excellently promoted by her breeder, the Dutchman Gerhard Roerink, so that she passed a very good mare performance test and was awarded the title "State Premium Mare" at the mare show in Elmshorn. Ravenna, daughter of the Carthago son Carvallo, who was successful in show jumping up to advanced (S) level, goes back to the mare Waldfee by Latino and Esplanade by Colt via the top sire Contender. The latter is a daughter of the important Adrette and thus a granddaughter of Dorette, one of the best mares from the successful 18B1 line. This line has always been one of the most successful in Holstein breeding in terms of producing stallions, such as Constant, Farn, Lagos, Quantum, Rembrandt, Roman and Ronald. But also important sport horses like Orient (Hans Günter Winkler), Campesino (Thomas Voss) and Queen Liesa (Toni Haßmann) go back to this dam line. ( Info: Holsteinber Verband)
