Stallion information: Lasino

His pedigree reads like a bestseller in show jumping breeding. With Landgraf as the sire and the stallions Capitol I, Lord and Roman in the maternal line, the most important jumper sires of the Holstein breed have been closely combined. The performance genes of the thoroughbred Ladykiller xx are manifested in Lasino through Landgraf I and Lord as well as Capitol I and Ramzes. They make the stallion an interesting sire in Holstein breeding, especially since he does not carry blood of Cor de la Bryère.

At the stallion performance test he achieved a jumping index of 130 points. Then followed the use in sport, initially with Bo Kristoffersen, then with Jörg Kreutzmann, who was able to achieve international success with him in Dortmund, Neumünster and Aarhus.

From the relatively small, but very successful line 2543 of the Thiedemann family, compared to the total population, many successful offspring can be found. The foundation mare of this line is the Fanatic mare Optik. The winning stallion of the 1981 licensing, Lavallo by Lord, comes from this dam line via the Marengo mare Maya. Other licensed stallions of this line are Boritas, Lux Z and Coriando. Lasino's dam, the mare Arina by Capitol I, produced the two licensed sons Limoncello I and II by Lorentin.

The mare Loreana also comes from the Thiedemann family's line 2543. She was successful in international show jumping competitions under Achaz von Buchwaldt and then with Lars Nieberg.

Lasino's offspring made their international breakthrough in 2007. Lord Luis won the Nations Cup with the German team under Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst in La Baule, and in 2008 they took 2nd place in the German Championships in Balve and 2nd place in the first leg of the highly remunerated Global Champion Tour in Doha, Qatar.

Le Beau, highly successful under Dirk Schröder in the indoor season 2006/2007 in the Grand Prix of Hanover, Frankfurt, Braunschweig, Neustadt and Verden, changed to Norwegian ownership in spring 2007. Under his new rider Stein Andresen, Le Beau finished 13th overall at his first international championships, the European Championships in Mannheim, and with two clear rounds in the Nations Cup, he played a major role in helping the Norwegian team qualify for the Olympic Games in Hong Kong. He reached the individual final of the best 25 at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong with Stein Andresen and finished in 16th place.

One of the highlights of the first round in the Olympic team course was Leconte, who completed a sensational round under the Australian Matthew Williams. In the meantime, this horse belongs to Marcus Ehning's training team, who was able to win the Grand Prix of Bremen with him, among other things, and finished tenth in the World Cup Final in Las Vegas.

In Germany, Lasino currently has 35 offspring who are successful in advanced (S) level show jumping. Three of his sons have been licensed so far: Let's Dance Lasino, Looping and Lovari.
