Castelan II came into the sport very late. Directly at his first outdoor show, the modern athlete was able to qualify for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf with a victory due to his very good rideability and his incredible ability. He won numerous tests for young show jumpers up to medium (M) level with dream scores of up to 9.2. Numerous foals from his first 2 crops were exhibited and awarded prizes.
