The stallion Casalito - Holsteiner Verband stallion

Characterized by his strongly constructed topline and correct foundation he shows in his appearance very clearly the inheritance of his grandfather Caretino. His basic gaits are very well in step, ground covering and elastic. With increasing carrying capacity this interesting young stallion finds his balance excellently. Jumping is characterized by caution, jumping quality and ability.

Casalito's dam line, strain 18A2, is highly interesting from a breeding point of view and is given special weight by the high proportion of thoroughbreds. His dam, the state premium mare Lalique, has two of the best Ladykiller xx sons in direct succession in her pedigree, Landgraf I and Lord. These two heroes of the Holstein breed left their mark on international show jumping with offspring such as Landlord, Lausbub, Libero, Taggi as well as Livius and Lugana. In the further descent follows the Marlon xx son Mikado as well as the two highly interesting thoroughbred stallions Nevado xx and Cottage Son xx. Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother produced successful offspring in advanced (S) level show jumping. Particularly noteworthy is the daughter of Dimona - Rarity. Rarität was already successful in advanced (S) level show jumping under the breeder's daughter before she became the property of Moorhof Stables and thus was ridden by Carsten-Otto Nagel. In the past few years, Rarität has won and placed in international competitions. Casalito's full sister Cathleen has already been successful in advanced (S**) level show jumping competitions.

Casalito's sire Casall is one of the most successful show jumpers in the world. In 2013, under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, he won the bronze medal with the Swedish team at the European Championships in Herning (DK) and came fourth in the individual classification after impressive performances. Casall can also convince in terms of breeding and is already considered the top sire of the Holstein breed. In 2011, he sired the champion mare Akimba, the 4-year-old State Champion of Show Jumpers Cascor, the top horse of the autumn auction Chantilly as well as the reserve winner of the licensing Cascadello I, who was auctioned for the record price of 600,000 Euros. In 2012, Casall's offspring dominated the licensing lot in Neumünster. He sired three licensed sons, including the premium stallion Clarcon, who, like Count Ebony, was placed with the Holsteiner Verband. In 2013, he produced Casaltino, the champion stallion in Neumünster, as well as four other licensed sons.
