Corrado I is already considered the line founder of the Holstein breed. The list of his successes and that of his offspring seems endless. Therefore, it is hardly possible to give more than an excerpt from the career of this sire.

The stallion Corrado achieved the highest jumping index of his year at the stallion performance test. He received the highest score of 10.0 for both the free jumping and the jumping layout. Even as a seven year old Corrado was able to show international advanced (S) level placings under the rider Bo Kristoffersen. Thus he was 2nd in the Danish Derby. After this success in Denmark, he won the North Rhine-Westphalia Prize in Aachen and the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden in 1993 under the rider Franke Sloothaak. In 1994 he won the World Cup qualifier in Dortmund and came third in the Nations Cup in Aachen in the same year. Many other successes followed, such as 2nd place in the Grand Prix of Bremen in 1995, 1st place in the Grand Prix of Neumünster and also the winning place in the World Cup jumping competition in Dortmund. In 1996 he was 5th in the World Cup Final in Geneva and won the World Cup in Aarhus/DK, as well as 1st place in the Grand Prix of Neumünster and Kiel. In 1997 his successful career continued with a 3rd place in the World Cup in Geneva and a 3rd place in the Grand Prix of Hanover. At the World Cup Final in Gothenburg Corrado was 4th in the Grand Prix and 6th in the Grand Prix of s'Hertogenbosch.

The stallion Corrado I also passes on his enormous jumping ability to his children. In the meantime, he has a large number of offspring who are internationally successful at the highest level in jumping competitions, for example, several mares by Corrado I received the highest score of 10.0 in the mare test. In the meantime, this stallion has more than 20 state premium mares and over 20 licensed sons in Holstein - including Calmaro, Carry Wind, Cascane, Casiano, Chablis, Clinton, Contago, Coradus, Coriano, Corofino I and II, Coronado, Corradino, Crawford and many more.
