Even as a seven year old Corrado was able to show international advanced (S) level placings under the rider Bo Kristoffersen. Thus he was 2nd in the Danish Derby. After this success in Denmark, he won the North Rhine-Westphalia Prize in Aachen and the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden in 1993 under the rider Franke Sloothaak.
